Enjoy contemporary decor and incredible views in a leafy, private, resort-style complex two blocks from the Rosslyn metro stop. Tour all of DC with only a few minutes' walk to metro, bus, bicycle-sharing stations, and Zipcars, and walk to dozens of major attractions in both DC and Arlington. This beautiful studio boasts a picturesque view over the river to the Washington Monument! Enjoy beautiful updated floors, granite countertops, a huge closet, a renovated bathroom and kitchen, and a large TV. A private high-speed WiFi connection ensure you stay connected at all times! Apartment-specific amenities include (but are not limited to!): - microwave - full set of kitchen and cookware - lots of closet space - direct access (one block) to biking/walking/hiking trails - direct access (directly from community) to Freedom Park - one block from Iwo Jima/Marine Corps Memorial and walking/biking park - walking distance (2-3 blocks) from restaurants/bars/etc. - Ubers/Lyfts/rideshare available in 1-5 minutes because of central location - and more!!!!
Other Details to Note
A few things to note: This building (like many older buildings) uses central heating and air conditioning. This means that the apartments are heated during the winter and cooled during the summer. AC does not turn on until the end of April or beginning of May! If you are particularly sensitive to heat, please reach out to me before booking! The laundry room is located on the first floor, and you can use an app to pay for washing and drying. There is no laundry inside the unit. There is no dishwasher in this unit. No smoking and no pets, per building rules. Finally, the building requires new residents to register their name and contact info upon move-in and sign a lease stating that they've booked on Airbnb for the building’s records. This is a building-wide safety measure and outside of my control. I provide all information and paperwork pre-filled (as much as possible) for your convenience!

You will have access to the full apartment, as well as cutting-edge gym equipment, free fitness classes, a resort-style pool, a sauna, a steam bath, and tree-shaded grounds. Within the popular, four-building River Place housing complex, River Place South (where this unit is located) offers an in-building fitness center with updated cardio and strength equipment, stretching area, sauna, and steam room. Free fitness classes include Yoga, conditioning and Tai Chi (classes updated periodically - check at front desk for current availability). Substantial improvements have been made to the building in the past few years, including an all-new lobby and mail room; new roof; all new double-pane windows; four new elevators; and a laundry room makeover, including advanced washing machines and dryers designed to text when a load is completed. Washer/dryers are located on the building's first floor, operated with a credit card, debit card or quarters.
